“Protecting the natural beauty of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a top priority at Landhaus Wagner. That’s why we’ve made a commitment to reducing our energy consumption and preserving this stunning scenery for future generations. To achieve this, we’ve implemented a range of sustainable initiatives, including:

• Photovoltaics: Over the year, our rooftop photovoltaic system produces more energy than we need for our house.
• Green Energy: We source 100% of our remaining electricity from renewable sources.
• Efficient Heating: We’ve upgraded our heating system to a efficient gas condensing boiler and installed six solar thermal modules to provide heat from the roof.
• Waste Separation: We encourage our guests to separate their waste for recycling.
• Energy-Saving Appliances: Our apartments are equipped with energy-efficient lighting and appliances, including LED lights and high-efficiency refrigerators and dishwashers.
• Insulation: We’ve started insulating the west side of our house and the roof to reduce energy consumption and will continue this process in the future.
• Modern Windows: We’ve renovated all windows in the house to improve insulation and reduce energy consumption.
